Information received is subject to Automattic's privacy policy . An IP address is defined as personal data because it can be traced back to a specific piece of hardware. We use Google Analytics' tracking code which anonymises the IP address before the information is stored and processed by JetPack. Thus, the stored IP address cannot be used to identify the individual user.
We collect information about visitors who comment on the website and use the Akismet antispam service. The information we collect includes the commenter's IP address, user agent, referring page and website URL (along with other information provided by the commenter, such as name, username, email address and the comment itself).
Sharing service
The "Share with others" function can be used to forward links to the website by e-mail, or to share on social networks. We do not log information about tips, but are only used now and then to enter the tip with the online community. We cannot guarantee that the online community does not log this information.
