Accommodation on the farm or down by the river

The river cabin

We offer accommodation either down in the Elvehytta - which is located close to Stjørdalselva's bank, or in the yard - in the barroom from 1916.

The cabin by the river has room for three people, but is not rented out for less than two nights. It is simply equipped with cold & hot water. It is based on self-catering, with a stove and fridge. A little away in the alder forest is the outhouse that belongs to the cabin. Despite the simple standard - but with made up beds - it is still a lovely place to spend the night. It is located right down by a child-friendly stone beach and under treetops with fantastic birdlife. Possibility of setting up a caravan/mobile home for a fee. View to the south to the fields that belong to the farm, and to the north to Stjørdalselva.

Prices from NOK 500 per person/night.

The entrance to the waiting room
Kårstua is rented out for accommodation.

The Kårstua upstairs by the farm has room for eight/nine people, a little depending on whether you are traveling in a group or not. It is also possible to add another couple of beds if you are traveling in a large group. Entire 1st floor (and a bit of the 2nd floor) is rented out, and contains a large bedroom with a double bed, a smaller room with two beds and a living room with two beds. The apartment has a bathroom and a kitchen. Rental is based on self-catering, and the kitchen has a fridge, stove and a small dishwasher. Option to set up a caravan/mobile home for a fee.

Prices from NOK 600 per person/night. Not rented out to groups smaller than four people.
