The transition for each calf is probably huge when they come out to pasture for the very first time in the May/June transition!
All our calves are born in early spring, and are fed inside on milk, round bales and Norwegian-produced, local concentrated feed until they are released outside - then they are followed up every day in the pasture with supervision and a little concentrated feed in the manger : )
